HireTrack ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
- Candidates: Name, email, mobile number, city, job title, experience, skills, resume, and profile preferences.
- Employers: Company name, contact name, email, mobile, city, and billing information.
- Usage data: Pages visited, job views, and application activity — collected anonymously for analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account on HireTrack
- To match candidates with relevant job opportunities
- To send OTP verification emails for authentication
- To send notifications about application status changes
- To process payments for employer plans
- To improve the platform based on usage patterns
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only in the following cases:
- With employers, when you apply for a job (name, contact details, resume)
- With payment processors (Razorpay) for billing purposes
- With email service providers (Resend) to send OTP and notification emails
- When required by law or court order
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security enabled. Passwords are stored as hashed values. We use HTTPS across all pages. Resumes are stored as encrypted base64 data.
5. Your Rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
6. Cookies
HireTrack uses session storage (not cookies) for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
